Samsung Galaxy S3's early marketing strategy

Wow! Talk about the love for cell phones.  Super Samsung loving bloggers really hyped the Galaxy S3.  before it even came out  in stores there were leaky stories of all types, from release dates to model types.   what a good way to market your product.  Although there were specualtions of the actual phone being able to keep up with all the hypes demands, the S3 actually competed furiously and held its grounds in sales against it's major competitor Apple.   Samsung also began their early marketing in the U.S. with interactive signs in New York. Vice president Nigel Emery of Cemusa Inc. manages bus stop shelters and has signed a deal with Samsung to use 40 of the shelters as a massive multichannel marketing campaign that also includes 40,000 interactive posters and 50 Kiosks. The Kiosks will offer e book download of mobil magazines which will promote interactive mobile features. This music service from the S3 will put it’s self in a serious competitive standing with leading competitors. Not too bad Samsung. way to collaborate with with the Cemusa Inc. and the music industry. If i knew you were going to give out free music I would have bought a galaxy instead instead of the latets.  but it aint the end of the word come find me in two years. good Job guys.

  1. Great commentary! I was wondering how the S3 gained so much popularity recently.
I'd actaully love to read the article that you got all this information from, could you post the link, please? Does it illustrate their global marketing efforts, or just in America? ....I have family all over the globe, and a good majority of them have or want the S3....even my 13 year old cousin in PAKISTAN has one! haha!
