Designed for Humans

In an effort to stay ahead of the competition, the Galaxy SIII has remarkably changed the game with its "Designed for Humans" campaign. Technological advancements in today's modern age have made people around the world more dependent on their mobile devices than ever, so in order for the Galaxy S III to triumph as one of the best handsets in Google's arsenal it really must seamlessly anticipate the user's next move and make it much easier to share in this social networking world. Applications such as S-Beam make it easier to transfer pictures, videos and files just by the two mobile devices being placed near each other cutting on the data usage as files are transferred seamlessly without the need of an internet connection, which can minimize data usage for users who are on carriers such as Verizon, AT&T and T-Mobile. In addition to the wireless transfer of files, there is also a function named "S-Voice" which is said to rival "Siri" which was introduced on the iPhone 4s last year. Although this function needs slight alterations so it can fully comprehend more complex commands, Samsung is on the right track in gathering a higher market share than the S III's predecessor the Samsung Galaxy S II. Lastly, one of the newest applications that took me by surprise was that you can watch videos while searching the web, meaning that it has an enhanced multi-tasking capability for people such as students, business people, or anyone with an overactive brain. It doesn't limit the user and provides those same capabilities such as a traditional desktop would give. These separate functions come together to establish Samsung as Google's flagship device; a powerful handset that can surely give Apple a run for its money.

Below is a commercial clip from the "Designed for Humans" campaign.

  1. Thank you for highlighting the importance of multitasking on these devices and some of the key advantages of the Samsung Galaxy XIII over the Apple iPhone. This information will help me if I ever decide to start shopping for a phone smarter than the one I already have.
